Road safety is a significant issue in our communities. Providing safe spaces for residents of all ages to walk and cycle in their local neighbourhoods is a critical part of reducing the number of trips taken in cars, and reducing the overall traffic impact on our local roads. I worked to successfully improve road safety around my schools before and I will need to again.
 
I can and will work cooperatively with our City Councillors to

address gaps in our sidewalk network, increase traffic signals for safe crossing, implement traffic calming measures and police enforcement strategies.
